I purchased a new home on Sept 16, 2020. Upon purchase of the house, I contacted Entergy to get the utilities switched over from the builder to my name.

The utilities were switched over to my name around September 25, 2020. After being switched over a bill was never generated for me. Upon reaching out to the company multiple times (at least 7 times) over the past 8 months, I have yet to receive a follow up with any call and have yet to be billed for electricity usage.

Each time I talk to someone they make a note on the account and tell me it's being looked at but nothing ever happens.

I have tried to look up company information but can not seem to get past a general "About Us" contact. Desired Outcome. Account has been forwarded to Customer Accounting to generate a bill.

Once bill is generated, we will work out payment arrangements with the customer.

BBB, my Problem began around April 22-24, 2021..We had very bad weather here in Baton Rouge I started having power surge after power surge in my home as well as my neighbors home.

I called Entergy on the same day since the storm and somone showed up off and on some days and there were days No One showed up..I've called consistantly to no avail..I've Explained on Several times that we have No Washer do to the Power Surges and I was told to file a Claim that I did.

I called again today and got the very same feed back that "someone will get with you" early next week and next week has come and gone a few times..Due to the surges we had to call in an Electrician on 5/7/21..to repair damage due to the power surges..I just want my home back in working order and not going to the laundry in stormy weather last week or using my bath tub to wash clothes and blankets..Thank You For Your Time..*****.

Desired Outcome. To Replace Washer, and Reimbursed for Electrician Call-Out.. LEFT A MESSAGE FOR MS ***** AT XXX XXX-XXXX INFORMING THAT HER CLAIM HAD BEEN ASSIGNED, PROVIDED THE CLAIM NUMBER AND CONTACT INFORMATION.

2/10/21 transformer near our house surged, and a piece of it broke off, slid down line and hit our breaker box.Box sparked then a strong oder of burning plastic.

Power rapidly cycled up and down for hours. I reported emergency to Entergy.Many circuits in breaker box were "blown",range,microwave &modem/router were broken& melted/scorched inside.Entergy lineman said faulty transformer caused damage; urged us to file damage claim online &we did.Weeks passed **** 3rd party claims adjuster emailed & said we had to file AGAINand it was much more detailed process, requiring pics &repairman letter proving range a total loss.We complied.

Mid March still can't cook, desperate I asked Entergy what next? We need 2B restored. No one knew anything.Just wait they said.April 1-3rd party said no when I asked if he needed anything else from us to settle this.

Waited month more April 30emailed 3rd Party pleading for info,we need oven/stove so bad. 3rdP said he'd look into it but never heard back.NotFair.
