This article is about a recurring plot element in the Kamen Rider Series.

Notes

  • Despite also being called "strongest forms", some Final Forms can be statistically weaker than Super Forms by slight margins. Examples include: Den-O Liner Form, Zeronos Zero Form, Double CycloneJokerExtreme, AccelTrial, Wizard Infinity Style, Gaim Kiwami Arms, Drive Type Tridoron, and Build Genius Form. The toolkits of the Final Forms usually serve to offset the weakened offensive output.
  • The Final Forms of pre-Decade Primary Riders usually contain at least one of three colors (red, gold, or black), while every post-Decade Primary Rider uses any other possible color scheme for their's, while also usually including white or silver as a base color.
    • Particularly, final forms from Gaim onward have minor rainbow-like accents on various parts of their suits: Gaim Kiwami Arms' visor, Drive Type Tridoron Attack 1.2.3's Shift Tire, Ghost Mugen Damashii's horn, Ex-Aid Muteki Gamer's eyes, and Build Genius Form's center chest piece. GrandZi-O goes back to being predominantly gold whilst ditching the rainbow accent.
      • Being the first primary Rider final form in the Reiwa era, Zero-Two's design does not follow any trends from the Heisei era, instead opting for having just minor design differences from Zero-One's default form. Saber, on the other hand, returns the rainbow accent.
    • The secondary riders' Final Forms usually have blue as a dominant color in their design. Garren, Zeronos and Baron are the only exceptions as they have a red color scheme. Birth maintains a predominantly silver coloration, although gains six subtle color additions due to the Birth CLAWs. Mach only has the color blue on his Driver and visor, with his Extra Final Form (Mach Chaser) having more blue instead. Cross-Z is a special case, as his base and power-up forms are dominantly blue, while his final form is the negative of blue, being dominantly orange instead. Geiz has two final forms that are orange and blue respectively, which are complementary colors.
  • In several cases, Final Forms also have special requirements and dangers that are caused either by users' own physiology or by their transformation methods. Such cases include:
    • Stronger Charge Up: After using his finisher moves, Stronger would temporarily become vulnerable and revert back to his normal form.
    • Kuuga Ultimate Form: Kuuga must have a pure heart or he will lose control of himself.
    • Faiz Blaster Form: From the excessive amount of Photon blood in this form, Faiz's lifespan as an Orphnoch is drastically shortened each time it is used.
    • Blade King Form: Due to Blade's high compatibility with the Undead, excessive usage of King Form will slowly turn him into a Joker Undead.
    • OOO Putotyra Combo: Unless OOO gains control over the dinosaur Core Medals, extended use will turn him into a mindless monster, a severely painful process.
    • Fourze Cosmicstates: Fourze must maintain his faith in his friends or he will lose access to this form.
    • Gaim Kiwami Arms: The Kiwami Lockseed's side effect excessively causes Gaim to be mutated into an Over Lord Inves.
    • Ryugen Yomi: Ryugen is not only diverted to evil but also loses his life force over long time usage.
    • Bravo Kingdurian Arms: Bravo will turn himself berserk and begins to attack out of nowhere due to the nature of the Kingdurian Lockseed.
    • Drive Type Tridoron: Drive must believe in his devotion to protect people and his friends to use Shift Tridoron.
    • Ex-Aid Muteki Gamer: Ex-Aid requires Para-DX's DNA and must be alive in order to maintain sufficient Bugster immunity for the use of the Hyper Muteki Gashat.
    • Brave Legacy Gamer: Brave must be fully resolute in his actions in order to activate the Taddle Legacy Gashat.
    • Para-DX Level 99: Para-DX requires Ex-Aid's DNA and must be alive in order to maintain the Bugster immunity for the use of the Gamer Driver.
    • Build Genius: Build must completely maintain his heroic traits to activate the Genius Fullbottle.
    • Evol Black Hole Form: Evol can lose control over his body if the Evol Trigger is struck.
    • Cross-Z Magma: The Cross-Z Magma suit emits intense heat which can injure him if not properly maintained.
    • Grease Blizzard: Due to the unstable increase of his Hazard Level by Faust, Grease's life force will be depleted after usage, thus causing his death.
    • GeizRevive: The Revive Ridewatch's expansion and contraction of time can severely damage Geiz's body, even at the risk of death.
    • GrandZi-O: If any constituent Ridewatch's existence is contradicted, GrandZi-O becomes weak in using that power. The absence of any Ridewatch makes the form inaccessible.
      • Ohma Zi-O: According to the original Ohma Zi-O, the form possesses the ability to not only destroy time and space itself, but to recreate everything into whatever the user wishes. Although, the ability is activated at once, the current timeline will be destroyed and replaces with a new one, which causes the Ohma Zi-O Driver will be erased, this causes Sougo being unable to transform into Zi-O again until someone restores his powers via the Future Note.
    • Another New 1: Because Finis stole Geiz's Time Mazine to travel back in time, the destruction of the Time Mazine in the present would cause a ripple effect and reverse the alterations made by the Time Jacker, since Finis, as Another 1, wouldn't have something to travel in time with.
    • RampageVulcan: Though never brought up in the show, the lock on the Rampage Gatling Progrisekey must be authorized by breaking it open with a sufficient level of strength, and is implied to be incapable of being unlocked through more conventional means in-universe. In REAL×TIME, Isamu is able to open the Progrisekey easily, presumably due to the lock within the key is destroyed and removed by Gai Amatsu's aid, this adds as well to his other Progrisekeys he used before.
    • Ark-One: The Ark's malicious aura constantly keeps Aruto in pain, reflected by his grief and cries; Aruto, however, has a negative chance to be forced out of transformation during its first use.
    • Valkyrie Justice Serval: Much like with Orthros Vulcan, since the form uses a Zetsumerisekey to force the transformation rather than a Progrisekey, it is extremely unstable as a consequence, leading to the destruction of the form's Zetsumerisekey that results her form being lost.
  • Kaixa and Ibuki are the only secondary riders without a Final Form, presumably meaning that their Rider Forms can even par a Final Form.
  • Among all the Final Forms used by the primary Riders, Stronger Charge Up, Faiz Blaster Form, Blade King Form, Armed Hibiki, Ex-Aid Hyper Muteki Form are the only ones to have never been forcibly canceled onscreen, essentially being undefeated in battle.
    • Kuuga Ultimate Form (Red Eye) is an arguable case at mostly strange reasons, since the Arcle had been damaged beforehand, with Daguva still defeated in the end.
    • This is coincidental with Hyper Muteki's name and basis based around being invincible.
  • There are often moments towards the end of a series/last episode where Riders can transform directly into their Final Forms without using the corresponding form-accessing device or even their belt, like on GrandZi-O's case.
  • Both Wizard and Ghost have final forms named after infinity. However, Ghost uses the Japanese word Mugen (ムゲン lit."Infinity"(無限)).
    • The two forms are also crystalline in appearance and have robes.
