Corium Brick Cladding

A facing brick finish remains ever popular within British architecture, however increasing developments in modern building techniques are now sitting alongside more traditional construction methods. Brick cladding systems offer architects and contractors increased advantages in design options, speed of construction and cost-savings.

The BBA certified Corium brick slip cladding system is manufactured by Wienerberger and exclusively supplied throughout the UK by Taylor Maxwell. The A1 fire rated system utilises extruded clay brick tiles specifically manufactured to fix mechanically to stainless steel or Magnelis metallic coated steel rails.
Corium is available in a wide range of standard colours and textures, with glazed tiles and bespoke blends also available. We've gone over and above to create a best-in class brick cladding system for the built environment, which has led the way in safety standards, durability and flexibility for over 10 years.

Our Anvil metal cladding is available using a semi-concealed recessed joint fixed (RJF) system with an overlapping joint. To provide a consistent finish to the facade, coloured fixings are available to match the aluminium panels. It is also possible to perforate the faces of the cassettes, providing the option to generate unique and decorative visual effects. The panels can also be laid in a multi-directional, staggered pattern, allowing the construction of a highly creative aesthetic to suit individual project designs.

Available in panel sizes up to 1.3m x 3.8m. The standard joint width for this system is 20mm. The RJF system is available with a PPC, anodised, natural metal or pre-coated finish. Contact us for samples, further details regarding the colours/finishes available or technical details.

Our Anvil metal cladding is also available using a pressed plank secret fix (PPSF) system which utilises a secret clip fix joint on to an aluminium support framework, providing an aesthetically clean finish with no visible fixings. Similar to our recessed and interlocking systems, the pressed planks can be laid horizontally, vertically or in a multi-directional fashion, allowing the construction of unique and imaginative project designs. It is also possible to perforate the faces of the cassettes, providing another means of generating decorative visual effects on the facade. Planks are available in face widths of 100 – 400mm and in lengths of up to 6m. To create the look of longer lengths, the system can be utilised with butt joints. The PPSF system is also available with a PPC, anodised, natural metal or pre-coated finish. Perforated metal panels are produced by punching holes of different shapes and sizes into cold sheets of metal to create various patterns. The amount and size of the perforations are a critical factor for consideration in the design process. We can supply round, square or special-shaped perforated systems as well as bespoke perforated or embossed patterns to suit your project design requirements. Expanded mesh screens are extremely versatile, ideal for creating a contemporary facade and offer an instant transformation on refurbishments and new developments. The amount and size of perforations, or the 'eyes' of the expanded mesh, are a critical factor for consideration in the design process. These flexible metal patterns can be used to enhance the shape of a building and can be manipulated to achieve unusual and striking visual effects. The design of the mesh pattern ultimately depends on the shape of the tool utilised in the expansion or perforation process. The shape may be square, diamond or hexagonal, and each eyelet has its own visual features for use in design and architecture.
