I am using a MSi Z87 MPOWER motherboard and I have fallen in love with Sound Blaster Cinema. My audio was perfect in Windows 8.1 but after the Windows 10 upgrade, Sound Blaster Cinema is nowhere to be found!

They say it's incompatible with Windows 10! And my audio sounds horrible!

Good people of Microsoft, please fix this. Harassment is any behavior intended to disturb or upset a person or group of people. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another. If its true please Microsoft make Sound Blaster Cinema work with Windows 10 (without even the need for BIOS update) as it works fine in Windows 8.1. I too ran into this problem on a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro.

App Name:Creative Sound Blaster Driver
Developer:Creative Technology Ltd.
Version:Creative Sound Blaster Driver 1.02.0001 (for Win 10)
Updated:January, 18th 2020
CategoryDrivers and Mobile Phones
File Size:38.27 MB
File Type:EXE file
Requirement:PC/laptop/tablet running Windows
(Windows 8.1 (32-bit) / Windows 8.1 (64-bit))
License:Freeware

I ended up finding a way around it by deleting the C:\Program Files (x86)\Creative\Sound Blaster Cinema 2\Sound Blaster Cinema 2\SBCinema2.exe.config file and installing .Net 3.5 onto my machine from the Add/Remove Windows Features Dialog.Once I completed those two steps and rebooted the Sound Blaster cinema 2 program became functional again and my sound was much better.

I am hoping that MSI will will release an alternative or an update for the SBCinema program at some point but this is functional for now.Report abuse Harassment is any behavior intended to disturb or upset a person or group of people.
